Thịt nạc bò được rửa sạch, thái lát, để ráo nước. Ướp thịt bò với xì dầu (nước tương), rượu, bột bắp, ít muối trong 10 phút.
Rửa sạch cải rổ, ngâm trong nước trong 5 phút rồi rửa sạch. Đun sôi nồi nước, cho cải rỗ vào chần sơ qua cho dịu lại thì vớt ra để riêng.
Đun nóng dầu ăn, thêm thịt bò đã ướp ướp, gừng băm vào xào cho săn lại. Thêm cải rỗ đã chần nước sôi vào chảo thịt, nêm nếm gia vị cho vừa miệng, tắt bếp.
