Cho 30gr ớt khô vào máy xay thực phẩm, xay nhỏ ớt, cho vào một tô riêng. Tùy vào sở thích của các bạn mà điều chỉnh độ to nhỏ của ớt xay.
Cho 250ml dầu ăn vào chảo. Tiếp theo cho 5gr hoa hồi, 5gr thanh quế, 4 lá nguyệt quế và 3gr hoa tiêu( xuyên tiêu). Dùng đũa khuấy đều để các nguyên liệu ngập trong dầu.
Đun chảo dầu ở lửa nhỏ, đến khi dầu sôi và có mùi thơm thì tắt bếp và dùng vợt vớt hết các nguyên liệu trong chảo dầu.
Cho vào tô ớt khô đã xay 10gr mè trắng. Đổ từ từ dầu đun sôi vào tô và dùng muỗng khuấy đều ớt. Vì dầu rất nóng nên các bạn nên đổ cẩn thận và từ từ để tránh bị bỏng.
Dầu ớt để nguội hoàn toàn rồi cho vào các hủ sạch để bảo quản. Chỉ với 10 phút chúng ta đã có ngay một loại gia vị rất đặc trưng, thơm ngon từ ớt và các loại thảo mộc, đặc biệt, dầu ớt dùng để chế biến rất nhiều món ăn trong ẩm thực Trung Hoa hay ăn kèm các món mì rất ngon và hấp dẫn.
